OVERVIEW
This is a comprehensive one day course developed to fulfil revalidation needs of the obstetric anaesthetist and the anaesthetist who covers obstetrics on call but who does not necessarily have daytime sessions. The syllabus covers key components of obstetric anaesthesia of the Royal College of Anaesthetists CPD matrix.
• The day is divided into four sessions covering labour analgesia, caesarean delivery, clinical problems in obstetric anaesthesia and a section on new/topical issues
• Consultant obstetric anaesthetists present didactic twenty talks using the best available evidence
