6th London Live Endoscopy

The 6th London Live Endoscopy course! This annual course aims to encourage, challenge, and educate all those aiming to deliver excellence in clinical endoscopic practice. To achieve this the programme incorporates a combination of live endoscopy, state-of-the-art lectures, ‘tricks and tips’ breakout sessions, and ‘hands-on’ delegate tutorials . The meeting is held in the Education Centre at UCH, with simultaneous transmission from 3 endoscopy rooms in UCH. As well as our local team, they will be joined by an outstanding national and international faculty, all of whom are at the forefront of driving excellence in endoscopy.

Course aims:

A full range of diagnostic and interventional endoscopy will be covered during the course, including ERCP, EUS, upper GI endoscopy, and colonoscopy. They hope to learn together not only “how to do it”, but “when to do it”. Although focusing on endoscopic scenarios common to clinical practice, they will also introduce and demonstrate endoscopic techniques and technology new in 2015! They believe that the course will appeal to established consultants, endoscopy nursing staff and endoscopy trainees, and provide a real chance to advance individual endoscopic skills and decision making.
