Gavin Johnson MBBS, MSc (Hons), MD, MRCP

Gavin Johnson is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at University College Hospital, and a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at UCL. Gavin studied at Newcastle University, and trained in General Medicine in the North East, and moved to London to take up a post as an Education Fellow in Medical Education at the Royal College of Physicians of London, culminating in an MSc and MD in Medical Education. His Gastroenterology training continued at University College Hospital and Barts and the Royal London Hospital Trust.

Gavin was appointed to University College Hospital in June 2010 working in the pancreaticobiliary team, and is the lead for Education in the GI Division of UCH. At UCL he is leading a working group to restructure the UCL Medical School curriculum.
