OVERVIEW
This course will provide a forum for appraising and discussing existing best practices, guidelines, algorithms, and resources on the management of ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and subarachnoid hemorrhage, as well as provide an opportunity to develop a plan for individual and team practice improvement.
Specifically, it will address new imaging techniques for cerebral ischemia, new therapeutic approaches to AVMs, imaging and hemodynamics in aneurysm formation, evidence-based stroke care including management of ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and subarachnoid hemorrhage, updates on treatment of TIA and minor stroke, as well as critical care for complex neurovascular patients, surgical and endovascular treatments, and the future of stroke rehabilitation.
