Anthony S. Kim

Dr. Anthony S. Kim is a vascular neurologist and medical director of the UCSF Stroke Center. He specializes in stroke prevention, management of transient ischemic attack and stroke, and management of cerebral aneurysms. Kim primarily cares for patients in the hospital, including the Neurointensive Care Unit. He also provides follow-up care, initial consultations and second opinions for patients with complex neurovascular disorders in the UCSF Neurovascular Disease and Stroke Center. Conditions he treats include stroke, arteriovenous and cavernous malformations, carotid stenosis, and intracerebral and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
