High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) 2014

The ASCCP High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) course best serves those physicians and advanced practice clinicians who are participating in the health care of MSM, men and women with HIV disease, other at-risk groups, and women with HPV-related disease. This course is appropriate for health care providers in many fields, including family practice, internal medicine and infectious disease, gastroenterology, general surgery, colo-rectal surgery, gynecology and pathology. Advanced colposcopy practitioners and those interested in the didactic and procedural training specific to HPV-related anal disease and HRA will benefit from this course.

The HRA course is designed for those who have basic proficiency in the practice of colposcopy. Documentation of prior completion of an ACCME-accredited comprehensive/ basic colposcopy training such as the ASCCP Comprehensive Colposcopy course or statement of current active colposcopy practice or colposcopy training from an accredited US residency program is also acceptable. For those who have not met one of these requirements, you must complete the first two days of the ASCCP Comprehensive Colposcopy course being presented immediately before the HRA course begins. Everyone is encouraged to attend these 2 days either as an introductory or refresher course.
