This year we have much to share about new programs, initiatives, and guidelines! Ward Cates, MD, MPH, will preview the changes that will be coming in the new 2014 CDC STD Treatment Guidelines. Have you heard of the new Choosing Wisely initiative sponsored by ABIM Foundation, along with Consumer Reports? It’s a national campaign to reduce unnecessary testing, and Michael Policar, MD, MPH, will call out the tests you will want to think twice about before ordering. On the last day we devote an hour to rapid-fire presentations on what’s too new to have made it onto our conference agenda, in the always dynamic Late Breakers on Innovations in Reproductive Health.
