Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) Annual Congress and Postgraduate Course 2014

A growing number of medical conditions can now be treated with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. This is clearly reflected in the CIRSE Annual Congress, and great care is taken to ensure that the programme permits generalists, specialists and sub-specialists alike to stay on top of those latest breakthroughs in the field that are most relevant to their work. For several years, the programme has been split into six tracks that each focus on core themes in IR. Delegates have reported that this structure allows them to easily create their own tailor-made schedule and focus on the topics that are of most interest to them.

This year, the Scientific Programme Committee has further improved this structure by carefully refining the time schedule. Sessions will now run parallel, making it easier for delegates to seamlessly follow clinical tracks, and so ensuring that they get the most from the congress.
