the Society for Rapid Response Systems. We are an international organization of medical emergency teams dedicated to improving the ability of hospitals to detect and respond to the deteriorating patient, and decrease in hospital mortality and morbidity.
Rapid Response Systems have progressed over 10-15 years from implementation in relatively few hospitals to now hundreds internationally. They are an accepted standard of practice in many countries, including Australia, Netherlands, Canada; and are a familiar and widespread concept in several other countries too.
