OVERVIEW
As the fourth most common neurologic disease, epilepsy has significant implications for public health. Disparities in access to care and inadequacies in seizure control contribute to an increased risk of disability for many patients. The Epilepsy Medicine and EEG: A Comprehensive Review will address these and other considerations in epileptology, including optimal use of antiepileptic drugs, assessment for epilepsy surgery, special considerations for female patients with epilepsy, and accurate interpretation of electroencephalography.
