Zofia Michalewska MD, PhD

Prof. dr hab. n. med. Zofia Anna Nawrocka (formerly Michalewska) obtained her medical diploma at the Medical University of Lodz in 2005. She gained professional experience during foreign internships, incl. at the Departments of Ophthalmology in Bremen, Munich, and Rostock. In 2017, she was awarded the academic title of professor of medical sciences by the President of the Republic of Poland. In 2015-2017, she worked as head and professor at the ophthalmology department at the hospital. Karol Jonscher in Łódź. Currently, she works at a private ophthalmology clinic called "Jasne Blonia" in Lodz.

Professor Zofia Anna Nawrocka deals with vitreous-retinal surgery and optical coherence tomography. She has written dozens of scientific papers. He publishes his works in Polish and international ophthalmological magazines, i.e. Klinika Ozcan, Graefe's Archive for Clinical and Experimental Opthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, Retina. He is also a reviewer in many ophthalmic journals. Professor Zofia Anna Nawrocka has over 150 presentations and speeches at local and international congresses, including about 50 times she was invited as a speaker.
