Dr. Massy have been working on CKD cardiovascular research since 25 years. He has contributed to the
development of the cardiovascular clinical research by participating in several trials either as
coordinator or investigator (e.g. National French coordinator of SHARP Trial). He was able to inaugurate
the first Clinical Research Centre (CRC) at Amiens University Hospital in January 2008. He had been
appointed to Director-Coordinator of the CRC. He was involved in the recruitment of physician and research
nurses, and to establish several clinical trials. He has been recently appointed as Vice Senior Research
Director at Amiens University Hospital. His other cardiovascular research activities include basic
research related to uremic toxins and cardiovascular complications. After basic research activities at Necker Hospital in Paris, he has participated at the creation and direction of new, independent Research Unit INSERM ERI-12 at University of Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens focusing on vascular calcification and uremia. He is a Core-member of Council of EVBO.
