Since 2014, Khouri-Stevens has served as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), where she oversees the Nursing and Clinical Services departments. Her tenure at JHAH has been defined by the advancement of nursing as a profession, in 2015 Khouri-Stevens established the Doctorate of Nursing program in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. This program is the first of its kind to be offered in Saudi Arabia and enhances nurses’ clinical skills, develops their leadership skills and solidifies their role as an essential component in delivering quality healthcare.

Khouri-Stevens received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the American University of Beirut in 1993. In 1995, she received a Master’s of Science in Nursing, with a focus in critical care and trauma, from the University of San Francisco in California. In 2006, she was awarded a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Maryland, with a focus in critical care and education. Her main research focus as a doctoral candidate was the relationship between critical thinking and clinical decision-making amongst critical care nurses.
