Yulia Orlova, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist and UCNS-certified headache specialist. She received her medical degree from Siberian State Medical University, Russia, and completed her neurology residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, NJ. She then completed a fellowship in headache medicine at the John R. Graham Headache Center at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Orlova's clinical interests include: Migraine, Chronic Migraine, Cluster Headache, Trigeminal Autonomic Cephalalgia, and Secondary Headache Disorders. Her research interests include the safety of headache treatments and migraine treatment, including emergency room medications used for migraine treatment. She participated in international multicenter clinical trials as a co-investigator.
Dr. Orlova treats all headache and facial pain disorders, including but not limited to migraine with and without aura, chronic migraine, chronic daily headache, cluster headache, hemicrania, trigeminal neuralgia, and secondary headache disorders. She presented multiple lectures in headache medicine and educated medical students, residents, and fellows. She published peer-reviewed publications.
