Yasmin Khakoo MD, FCNS, FAAN, FAAP

Dr. Yasmin Khakoo is a triple-boarded pediatrician/child neurologist/onconeurologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Child Neurology Society President, where she chairs the VAX-TASK force (for vaccine education). Her practice includes prevention/diagnosis/treatment of neurologic complications in pediatric oncology patients, and she also studies neurocutaneous melanocytosis.

A 2019 graduate of AAN Women Leading in Neurology, she became Editor-in-Chief of Pediatric Neurology in 2022. Awards include 2023 CNS Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Award, 2025 AAN A.B. Baker Teaching Award & 2025 Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation Compassionate Care Award. She advocates for patients and for the underrepresented in medicine.
