Wong Chee Kuan MD, MRCP

Dr Wong Chee Kuan is a consultant respiratory physician from University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). He is the current head of the respiratory unit in the Department of Medicine UMMC. He obtained his MRCP from the United Kingdom in 2010 and completed his fellowship in Respiratory Medicine in 2016 at the University Malaya since then has become a lecturer, physician, and researcher at UMMC.

Wong has conducted research on various conditions including Tuberculosis, COPD, respiratory viral infections, lung cancer among others. Dr Wong was the external reviewer of CPG on the Management of Evali and was the advisor for the international COPD Expert meeting. Dr Wong has made significant contribution in various medical events, locally and internationally, and has made media appearance to address various respiratory-related issues to the public.
