Dr. Abuznadah had finished his Bachelor Degree of Medicine at King Abdulaziz City, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1998. In 1999 to 2001, he joined the Surgical Residency Program at King Khalid National Guard Hospital – Jeddah, and obtained a scholarship to pursue a postgraduate Surgical Residency from 2001 to 2006 at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. During that period, in 2004, he received the Master’s Degree in Medical Education from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Canada. In 2007, he acquired his General Surgery Specialty Certificate from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). Also, in 2008, he completed the Fellowship Training in Vascular Surgery from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and had been awarded the Vascular Surgery Specialty Certificate from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) in 2009.
He was appointed as a Consultant of Vascular Surgery at National Guard Health Affairs – Jeddah in 2008. He became one of the founders of College of Medicine – Jeddah under King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, and later on, was credentialed as an Assistant Professor of Vascular Surgery in 2010. In 2011, he was appointed as the Head of Research Promotion & Education at King Abdullah International Research Center, Western Region under the umbrella of National Guard Health Affairs. Afterwards, he was formally appointed as a Founding Chairman of Department of Medical Education in 2012, and in March 2013, he was appointed as an Associate Dean of Academic & Student Affairs under College of Medicine – Jeddah, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
