Werner Budts MD, PhD

Werner Budts, MD, Ph.D., is a Cardiologist, Head of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic at the University Hospitals Leuven, and a Senior Lecturer at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. His research is mainly focused on adults with congenital heart disease. He is a member of the Working Group 22 Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) of the European Society of Cardiology and the President-Elect for the national working group of ACHD. He is the author of several peer-reviewed papers, Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal, and a reviewer for several international journals.
