Vivek K. Moitra MD, MHA

Vivek Moitra, MD is a Professor of Anesthesiology in the Division of Critical Care and the Assistant Medical Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. His clinical and research interests include intraoperative resuscitation and the long-term outcomes of the chronically critically ill. Dr. Moitra is a member of the Critical Care Fellowship Clinical Competence Committee and the Associate Director of Perioperative Medical Education. He is an editor for the American Board of Anesthesiologists annual examination. His skills as an educator were recognized in 2007 by the Katherine Cozine Teacher of the Year Award.
