Dr. Veronica E. Issac is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After medical school at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., she returned to her hometown to complete her residency in General Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She then completed her fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital Colorado in Denver. Dr. Issac is passionate about caring for those who are underserved and aims to improve equality within the healthcare system for all.
With specialized adolescent medicine training, she cares for patients with reproductive or menstrual issues, eating disorders, mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD, and gender identity issues. While not at work, Dr. Issac loves returning to the City of Champions to cheer on the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. She enjoys spending time with her family and dog, Rooney, and traveling to the happiest place on earth, Disney World! She also loves serving her community through Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She hopes to help keep teens and young adults on a healthy path toward a bright future.
