Vani Konda, MD, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Barrett's esophagus, gastroesophageal reflux disorders, esophageal strictures, swallowing disorders, eosinophilic esophagitis, achalasia, and other esophageal conditions. She performs complex esophageal dilations, endoscopic mucosal resection, radiofrequency ablation, and advanced endoscopic imaging. She is also interested in colorectal cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.



Dr. Konda is actively involved in researching and developing new applications of endoscopic imaging and optical technologies for the improved detection of gastrointestinal cancers and precancerous lesions. She has expertise in Barrett’s esophagus and has published articles and given lectures in this field.
