Biography :

Uri Elkayam, MD received his medical degree from the Tel-Aviv University, Israel, in 1973 and is presently Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is a past member of the executive council and chairman of the corporate affairs commission of the Heart Failure Society of America. Professor Elkayam is a member of the editorial boards of the American Journal of Cardiology, Cardiology, Heart Failure, and Cardiology in Review and a past member of the editorial boards of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the Journal of Cardiac Failure. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association and American College of chest physicians.
