Ufuk Aydinli MD

Professor Dr. Ufuk Aydinli was born in Amasya in 1956. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara Ataturk High School in 1973 after Elazıg, Balıkesir, Amasya, Kars, and Erzurum. He started his medical education at Hacettepe University Samsun Medical Faculty and graduated from 19 Mayıs University Samsun Medical Faculty in 1980. He worked as a research assistant at the University of Virginia Medical School in 1976 and a trainee at the same university in 1979.

In 1980, he started to work as an assistant in 19 Mayıs University Samsun Medical Faculty Orthopedics and Traumatology Department and in 1984 he became an Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist. After completing his duty at Samsun Military Hospital, he worked at Kesan State Hospital. During this period, he won the scholarship of the Italian government and was accepted to the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Padova University.

He served as vice dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Uludag University, where he served between 1988 and 2010. He started working in private status as a retired in 2010. Between 2010 and 2013, he became the European Education Officer of the European AO Spine Surgery Organization (AO Spine). During this task, he worked in the group that developed the first spine training plan of the same organization in the world. He attended countless international meetings; He worked as a speaker and manager. Professor, who has been doing 90% of his daily practice for 25 years on the treatment of spinal diseases. Dr. Ufuk Aydınlı is still a board member of AO Spine and a European education consultant.
