Biography :

Tullio Ghi was graduated in Bologna in Medicine and Surgery in 1997, he then specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2002 at the same University. He obtained a PhD in Prenatal Development Science, Diagnosis and Fetal Therapy in 2006 at the University of Milan. After spending a year in London at King's College Hospital, from 2005 to 2014 he worked as a medical director at the OU of obstetrics and gynaecology of the S. Orsola-Malpighi Hospital. Since December 2014 he is an associate professor in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Parma.

In addition to the general skills of a surgeon and specialist obstetric-gynaecologist, he has mastered the main techniques of invasive and non-invasive prenatal diagnosis. He has over 100 scientific papers published in international journals with impact factor and is the author of some volumes and monographs ("Maternal hypertensive pathology and fetal hypo-development" Eds 2003 and 2009; Ghi T; "Fetal surveillance in labour" Eds 2009 Valensise H, Felis S Ghi T, Vasapollo B). He is a speaker at numerous national and international courses and congresses.
