Dr. Timothy Fenske attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also completed an MS degree in cellular and molecular biology. After completing a residency in internal medicine at UW-Madison, he then completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Washington University (Barnes Hospital) in St. Louis, where he was awarded a position on the National Institutes of Health Hematology Training Grant. He joined the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2005 and is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
Dr. Fenske's clinical and research efforts are focused on the care of patients with lymphoma (Hodgkin's disease and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma), and related disorders such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). He is particularly interested in innovative treatments for aggressive Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, including stem cell transplant therapies, and strategies to minimize the toxicity of lymphoma treatment.
