Description:
This single-day certified continuing medical education conference has been designed to meet the educational needs of hematologists, medical oncologists, pharmacists, fellows and residents, APP’s, oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals committed to the field of cellular treatment options for advanced hematologic malignancies.

Purpose:
Available treatments for relapsed/refractory (advanced) hematologic malignancies have been expanding quickly in recent years. For example, revolutionary treatment options, such as tisagenlecleucel, a cell-based gene therapy, and polutuzumab vedotin-piiq, have recently been approved for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. In addition, while the cure rate for Hodgkins lymphoma is high, investigation into CAR T-cell therapy for relapsed disease shows excellentpromise. CAR T-cell therapy, along with novel immunotherapies, already represent excellent options for patients with multiple myeloma or acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Progress in cellular therapy/bone marrow transplantation in advanced hematologic malignancies continues as rapidly as other therapeutic options develop. These important developments bring with them significant challenges to providers regarding what is the best option for a specific patient at a specific time. 

Educational Objectives:
Following participation in this activity, learners will:
• Discuss individualized treatment options for high-risk patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma
(DLBCL), Hodgkin’s lymphoma (HL), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and multiple myeloma (MM).
• Include autologous or allogeneic HCT and/or CAR T-cell therapy in treatment plans for patients with
various refractory (advanced) hematologic malignancies.
• Utilize newer chemotherapeutic treatment options in conjunction with HCT and CAR T-cell therapy for
patients with various refractory (advanced) hematologic malignancies.
