Tilman Humpl MD, PhD

Dr. Humpl is a Paediatric Cardiologist and Paediatric Intensivist who has been on staff at the Hospital for Sick Children since February 2003. He was the acting Director of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine until December 2005 and is primarily involved in Paediatric Cardiac Critical Care.

One focus of his clinical work is the management of children on a ventricular assist device. As the Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Service at the Hospital for Sick Children, he runs an outpatient clinic with referrals from several provinces.
