Thomas M. Kessler MD, FEBU

Dr. Thomas M. Kessler studied medicine at the Universities in Fribourg, Lausanne, and Bern leading to MD graduation at the University of Bern. He underwent further education as a surgeon in Sursee and Zofingen and then switched to the Department of Urology, University of Bern, where he underwent specialist training under Professor Urs E. Studer and obtained a specialist title as an urologist. Thomas specialized in Neuro-Urology at the University Hospital of Innsbruck under Professor Helmut Madersbacher and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London, under Professor Clare J. Fowler. In addition to his clinical activities, Thomas also worked as a research fellow at the Horten Centre for patient-oriented research and knowledge transfer at the University Hospital of Zürich.
