Tayyab Diwan MD

Dr. Tayyab S. Diwan completed a transplant surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic as well as a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Legacy Health and has recently led a highly successful program for potential kidney transplant recipients with obesity at the University of Cincinnati, where he had been since completion of his transplant fellowship in Rochester and prior to returning to Mayo Clinic in September 2020. Dr. Diwan is an outstanding surgeon who has already achieved a national reputation and has very strong credentials, particularly within the education shield. He is now a multi-organ transplant surgeon at Mayo Clinic and has a particular focus on obesity within transplantation, along with a strong interest in ethics and transplantation.
