Dr. Tarun Sabharwal is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital.

Tarun performs vascular and nonvascular interventions, particularly vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty; oesophageal/duodenal/biliary and colonic stenting; vascular angioplasty and stenting; embolization for varicoceles/fibroids/prostate artery and bleeding; venous access (portacaths, Hickman lines) and biopsies.

He holds a number of positions on committees including Standards of Practice CIRSE and SIR, scientific program BSIR and ECR, membership BSIR, Advisory Board ESIR, NCEOP, and emergency framework NHS London.

Tarun has more than 80 PubMed publications and is a reviewer for multiple interventional radiologist journals, textbook chapters, book editor, and standards of practice documents.
