Tammy Nguyen PharmD, BCPS

Tammy T. Nguyen, PharmD, BCPS, holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy, where she also completed her post-graduate year one pharmacy practice and post-graduate year two in emergency medicine residency. She is currently in her 12th year working as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist of Emergency Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Emergency Department.

As a pharmacist in the ED, her responsibilities include the optimization of medication interventions for acute medical emergencies, clinical research, and teaching. She also holds an appointment as a clinical assistant professor at the VCU School of Pharmacy and clinical associate professor at the VCU School of Medicine.
