Dr Senthil is innovative strategic thinker whose initiatives have taken eye care to the doorsteps of common people. Dr. Senthil graduated from the prestigious Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute – A Harvard Medical International Affiliated institute.. He has presented lectures in Indian and International conferences. He was invited as a Guest Speaker in the prestigious Yale and Duke Universities. He also received a Humanitarian Volunteer of the year Award in an International healthcare convention held in Stanford University in 2007. He received the Gold Medal for excellent service in Ophthalmology from Tamil Nadu Governor Rosiah in 2014. Dr Senthil’s special interest is on Diabetic Retinopathy Screening through Telemedicine and he serves as CEO of Welcare Health Systems Pvt Ltd which is India’s Largest Teleophthalmology company
