Sylvia L. Singleton RN, CHC

Sylvia is the Corporate Compliance Office for Caris Healthcare and has been a Registered Nurse for 25 years. She spent 15 years in Medicare working for a Medicare Contractor. This experience included policy development, medical review and data analytics. In addition, her experience included serving as a HCPCS Coordinator, reviewing medical equipment and assigning HCPCS codes for durable medical equipment (DME) for the Medicare Program. She also served as a Medical Affairs Coordinator to develop Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs) used in 16 states before moving on to Medical Review Manager. During this time, she initiated contractor medical review of Medicare claims for Part A and B along with Home Health and Hospice. Sylvia is certified in healthcare compliance through HCCA and is an active member of several boards and committees to improve and inform hospice regulations and patient care.
