Suzanne Olbricht is Chief of the Department of Dermatology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Associate Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. As a clinician, Dr. Olbricht’s field of expertise is skin cancer and procedural dermatology, performing Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction for skin cancers of the head and neck. Dr. Olbricht has authored 24 original reports, 37 reviews and one book and is editor of two other books. She lectures locally, nationally and internationally on ethics, skin cancer, and surgical techniques.

Currently she is Incoming President-Elect of the American Academy of Dermatology. Prior activity in the AAD includes Chair of the Scientific Assembly Committee in 2012 and Secretary-Treasurer from 2010-2016. She received the President’s Award from the Women’s Dermatology Society in 2011 and the Distinguished Service Award of the American College of Mohs Surgery in 2011 and 2015. In 2015 she was director of the Basics of Dermatologic Surgery Course at the World Congress in Vancouver. In 2016 she was the plenary speaker at the Brazilian Congress of Dermatology. In 2017 she is the plenary speaker for the annual meeting of the Philippine Dermatology Society.
