Suman Wasan MD, MS, FACP, RVT

Suman M. Wasan, MD, MS is currently Regents Professor of Medicine, Vice-chair for Clinical Operations, and Director of the Vascular Medicine Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Wasan directs the vein treatment center at OU Medical Center. Dr. Wasan has been principal investigator in several research projects regarding chronic venous disease, pulmonary embolism and deep-vein thrombosis.
Dr. Wasan has published and presented both locally and nationally. Currently, she serves as member of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and the Board of Advisors for Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Suman M. Wasan received her doctorate of medicine at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas in 1994. Dr. Wasan received her master’s degree in epidemiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2004. She is board certified in internal medicine and vascular medicine.
