Sue studied Medicine at Sydney University. She undertook her Cardiology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, then further training in cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at Royal Melbourne Hospital. Her main area of expertise is in the investigation and management of patients with syncope (blackouts). She is on the staff of the Alfred Hospital and is undertaking research into blood pressure regulation disorders associated with syncope at the BakerIDI Heart and Diabetes Institute.
