Steven R. Lentz MD, PhD

Steven R. Lentz is a Professor of Internal Medicine-Hematology, Oncology, and Blood and Marrow Transplantation at the University of Iowa. Dr. Lentz's laboratory utilizes molecular and cellular techniques, along with transgenic and gene-targeted animals, to investigate the mechanisms of regulation of hemostasis by vascular cells such as endothelium, vascular muscle, and platelets. He completed his Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy at Washington University.
