Steven G. Pratt MD, FACS, ABIHM

Steven G. Pratt, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American College of surgeons. He is a certified Visx refractive surgeon and has been doing refractive surgery since 1993. He is honored to have been the choice of local celebrities, fellow physicians, and their wives & families when seeking laser vision correction.

Dr. Pratt was born in Los Angeles, California and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California and his Medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Pennsylvania. He served in the Navy as a medical officer, where he completed his ophthalmology residency at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego. He then went on to Harvard Medical School to complete his fellowship training.

Dr. Pratt currently serves as a senior staff physician at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology Refractive Surgery Interest Group.
