Steven G. Imbesi received his bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (Magna Cum laude, Valedictorian in Chemistry) in 1985 and Doctor of Medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College (top ten percent graduate) in 1989.
He completed an Internal Medicine internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in 1990, a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in 1994, and a two-year Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of California, Davis in 1996. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.
