Stephen Anthony Colucciello MD, FACEP

Dr. Colucciello is a Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine at the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Colucciello has attained extensive academic achievements. He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of an Emergency Medicine Journal as well as the editor or co-editor of eight emergency medicine textbooks.

Dr. Colucciello has been an author or co-author of over 100 emergency medicine publications and has given more than 250 national and international presentations. He won a national award for presentations in emergency medicine and was named one of the Best Doctors in America in 2010. The doctor is a Past Member of the American College of Emergency Physicians Clinical Policy Committee as well as the Past Chair of the American College of Emergency Physicians Clinical Policy Committee on Syncope. His many interests include the use of evidence-based algorithms to improve care and reduce medical-legal risk in the ED.
