Dr. Srinivas Gaddam is a board-certified gastroenterologist, physician-scientist, and nationally recognized expert in pancreaticobiliary diseases, pancreatic cancer screening, and advanced endoscopy. He serves as Associate Professor of Medicine in the Karsh Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he is a leader in pancreatic cancer research and early detection initiatives.

Dr. Gaddam earned his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College and completed residency training at Mercy Hospital before pursuing fellowship training in gastroenterology at Washington University School of Medicine. He subsequently joined Cedars-Sinai, where he has built a distinguished career integrating patient care, clinical research, and innovation in digestive diseases.

His clinical expertise includes pancreatic cancer, pancreatic cysts, biliary disorders, Barrett’s esophagus, gastrointestinal cancer prevention, and advanced endoscopic procedures. Dr. Gaddam is particularly recognized for his work in pancreatic cancer screening and early detection, helping develop strategies to identify high-risk individuals and improve outcomes through earlier diagnosis.

As a prolific investigator, Dr. Gaddam has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has contributed extensively to research involving pancreatic cancer, Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal adenocarcinoma, advanced endoscopic imaging, and gastrointestinal oncology. His research combines clinical medicine, imaging science, and population-based studies to advance diagnostic accuracy and personalized approaches to cancer prevention and treatment.
