Dr Sofia Forslund trained as a molecular biotechnologist in Uppsala, then aquired a PhD in computational biology in Stockholm. After post-doc at the EMBL she founded the Host-microbiome systems medicine of cardiometabolic disease group at the ECRC (MDC/Charité) in Berlin.
