Shyam Kishan MD, MS

Shyam Kishan, M.D. is a fellowship trained, board certified orthopedic surgeon. He is the medical director of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma at Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas.
Dr. Kishan graduated from medical school at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) at Madras University in India. His orthopedic residency was completed first in India at one of the premier programs there, and then at New Jersey Medical School, followed by a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and Scoliosis Fellowship at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Kishan is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery in both in the US and in India, and specializes in the management of Pediatric Orthopedic conditions such as trauma, infections, tumors, limb deformities both congenital and acquired as well as spine deformities such as Scoliosis, Kyphosis and Spondylolysis/listhesis. He has set up regional centers for the management of pediatric spinal deformities most recently at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis from where he comes to us.
