Sherri Hess, MS-IS, BSN, RN-BC, FHIMSS is a proven Healthcare Informatics Nurse Executive with extensive clinical informatics and leadership expertise. She provides strategic and operational leadership in the development, deployment, re-engineering and integration of clinical information systems (CIS) to support clinicians and patient service. Sherri is an articulate leader with excellent communication skills building rapport with all levels of leadership, clinicians and technical staff. She is a transformational leader with a proven track record utilizing best practice to ensuring on-target, high-quality deliverables and holds a black belt in LEAN process improvement with expertise in A3 thinking. Currently, Sherri is the CNIO at Banner Health which is a non-profit health system providing care in 6 states with 28 hospitals, primary and speciality clinics, Urgent Cares, hospice, and a leader in telehealth. As the CNIO, Sherri leads the strategic nursing leadership in the development, optimization and integration of technology that supports their patients and clinicians across the continuum of care.
