Shari Goldfarb, MD, is an Attending Physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with dual academic appointments on the Breast Medicine Service in the Department of Medicine and in the Health Outcomes Research Group in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

She clinically manages, treats, and provides comprehensive breast cancer care, education, and research for breast cancer patients. She also performs survivorship research to improve the quality of life in women with breast cancer and survivors of the disease, with emphasis on long-term health and QoL issues for survivors.

Specifically, her research focuses on characterizing and improving the negative effects of breast cancer therapy on women's reproductive and sexual health. By studying the impact of treatment on fertility and sexual function, she hopes to enhance the scientific understanding of these important issues, leading to improved outcomes for patients. She is the PI on several ongoing clinical trials. She is the current Chair of the Scientific Network on Female Sexual Health and Cancer.
