Shane Aaron Reeves MD

Shane Reeves, MD, is an Associate Professor and Director for Prenatal Diagnosis and Genetics at the University of Colorado, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Reeves serves as Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His care philosophy includes treating both the patient and her family, including those people important to her life. His approach to patient care comes from a biopsychosocial model, a model centered upon the philosophy that disease is influenced by medical, psychological, and social aspects in a patient’s life. Dr. Reeve’s clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, non-invasive screening, invasive testing, fetal diseases and birth defects, high-risk obstetric complications, and maternal medical disorders.
