Ms Selina Cheong has 6 years of working experience in Geriatrics, is a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and is currently a senior pharmacist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She has completed her Postgraduate Year 2 Pharmacy Residency training (Geriatrics) by Ministry of Health Singapore in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Honours) from NUS and is currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Pharmacy by Queen’s University, Belfast.
Selina’s work includes educating the elderly and their caregivers on how to better manage medications, as well as collaborating with healthcare workers to provide quality care to older adults. She is also involved in various researches on medication use in the elderly.
Selina is passionate about teaching and has spoken at various conferences, including the Australian & New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine Annual Scientific Meeting 2017, Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress 2016 and Singapore Pharmacy Congress 2014.
