Dr. Scott Gregory Pritzlaff, MD, CIPS, FIPP, is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Program Director for the Pain Medicine Fellowship at UC Davis. An interventional pain physician, educator, and combat Navy veteran, Dr. Pritzlaff brings a well-rounded, mission-driven perspective to the field of Pain Medicine. His clinical and research work focuses on ultrasound-guided procedures and percutaneous nerve stimulation for the treatment of neuropathic pain, with an emphasis on peripheral nerve evaluation and innovation in pain and spine technologies.
Dr. Pritzlaff is a nationally recognized advocate for education reform in Pain Medicine. He has published on fellowship training standards and curriculum development. He is deeply committed to advancing the education, mentorship, and long-term success of pain fellows through structured, outcomes-based learning.
