Sarah L. Morgan MD, RD, FADA, FACP, CCD

Dr. Sarah Morgan earned her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in Ames and her medical degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She has a master’s degree in clinical nutrition and is a registered dietitian both of which contribute to her excellence in patient care. Dr. Morgan has earned many awards, including the Outstanding UAB Female Faculty Award in 2001 and the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award from Iowa State University in 1999. She has been the medical director of the UAB Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment Clinic since 1998. She teaches in medical school and is also an accomplished researcher. She is a past president of the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. Dr. Morgan is also a talented artist expressing herself through lost wax casting jewelry, knitting, and stained glass windows.
