Prof. Sanjay Swaminathan is the clinical dean of the Blacktown Mt. Druitt Clinical School, Western Sydney University. He is also a clinical immunologist and immune-pathologist at the Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals. Following his PhD, he worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research. His research interests center on the role of microRNAs in various diseases, including HIV and multiple sclerosis. Clinical interests include the management of patients with autoimmune disorders, vasculitis, immune deficiencies, allergy, and inflammatory eye disorders.
